RUN CLUB / WALK CLUB Are you interested in getting into shape for 2009? (or staying in shape :-) Beginning this Saturday, Dolly & Cheryl, from the office, will meet all of those who are interested in a running or walking club. We plan to begin our journey at the beginning of the walk trail just behind the office clubhouse. From there, we will take on an approximate 3 mile journey to & from Breckenridge Park. Our 1st meet will be this Saturday, November 8th, at 7:30 a.m. Water & fruit will be served afterwards. Come join us while we take advantage of our own nature trail and get to know your neighbors as well! Call the office for details. 972-234-4848

Residents of Clearwater Creek, like many of our nearby neighbors are very fortunate, unlike alot of the families that end up in the homeless shelters during this time of the year. Our staff at Clearwater Creek would like to prepare another grand ole breakfast :-) of pancakes and all the fixins, eggs, sausage, canadian bacon, bagels, danishes, fruits, yogurts, and more for our residents to enjoy, and in return, we ask that our residents bring a contribution for the Homeless Shelter of Collin County www.thesamaritaninn.org
so that we can share with them as well. If each of our residents can donate 3 can goods for your breakfast, we can make a huge donation to the residents of the homeless shelter. You don’t have to bring cans, any donations are welcome. You may bring boxed goods, dry food items, clothes donations, or even a gift for a child for the upcoming Christmas Season. We will be collecting items in the office the entire month of November, but will deliver to the Collin County Homeless Shelter on Tuesday, December the 2nd, after this month’s breakfast. We appreciate any contributions that you can make and we look forward to serving you breakfast! This months breakfast will be held Saturday, November 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the office clubhouse. Please join us!
